The Efkranti Awards, organized every year by the maritime magazine Naftika Chronika, under the auspices of the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation were awarded, for the eleventh consecutive year, on May 20, 2019, at the Historical Library of the Aikaterinis Laskaridis Foundation in Piraeus.
The 2018 Efkranti Award for the Best Manager of the year was awarded to Capt. Kostas K. Kanellopoulos, Managing Director of Nereus Shipping S.A.
The decision of the jury weighed on the fact that Capt. Kostas is one of the most accomplished members of the Greek shipping family, who enjoys appreciation and recognition for his long contribution to the shipping industry, his professional zeal and his leadership skills, both within and outside national borders.
