Nereus Shipping S.A. proudly participated in Blue Horizons 2026, a collaborative initiative organised by the Hellenic Yacht Club and HELMEPA, aiming to inspire and engage young people with the opportunities and prospects of the Blue Economy.
As part of the initiative, Capt. Konstantinos Kanellopoulos, Managing Director of Nereus Shipping S.A., participated as Mentor-Speaker and panelist in the interactive mentoring session.
The discussion addressed students and young participants from all educational levels, from primary school to university, offering valuable insights into the maritime sector, professional opportunities within the Blue Economy, and the importance of innovation, sustainability, and human capital in shaping the future of shipping.

Through its participation, Nereus Shipping reaffirmed its commitment to supporting educational and youth-oriented initiatives that strengthen the connection between younger generations and the maritime industry, while encouraging students to explore career paths within the broader maritime ecosystem.
